Etymology: A Sophisticated Play on Words
The name of the series is a brilliant example of marketing intelligence. In French, the word “Côté” means “slope” or “coast,” which directly refers to the sun-drenched hills of the Rose Valley, where our grapes are born.
At the same time, however, the pronunciation of the word resonates in a different, emotional way:
In Bulgarian: It sounds like the endearing "kote" (kitten) – a symbol of domestic coziness and tenderness.
The Cause: “Feed the Cats with COTE"
For over 10 years, this campaign has united thousands of people behind a single cause – caring for homeless animals. With every bottle of COTE sold, our representative office in Poland sets aside funds to purchase food for shelters and animal organizations.
