The Magic of the Sungurlare Valley
Terroir is what makes every wine unique – the term originates from French and means a "sense of place." It is the delicate combination of climate, soil composition, and topography that gives our wines their unmistakable character.

Geographic Location and Topography
The vineyards of "Vinex Slavyantsi" are located on the southern slopes of the southeastern Balkan Mountains, just 80 km from the Black Sea coast. Our vineyard blocks are situated at an altitude between 200 and 450 meters, which provides perfect drainage and optimal exposure.
Unique Microclimate
The region is characterized by a mild winter and a growing season of 214 daysAnnual rainfall is approximately 570–600 l/m², with half of them occurring specifically during the growing period, providing the vines with the necessary moisture without the risk of diluting the flavors. The combination of abundant sunlight for good sugar content and cool mountain breezes to preserve acidity is the secret behind the freshness of our emblematic Red Misket.
Soil Diversity
The region's specific sandy-clay soils play a decisive role. They allow the vine roots to penetrate deep into the ground, extracting minerals that lend our wines complexity and a refined finish. In the warmer micro-regions, we achieve deeper color and fruity boldness, while the higher altitudes grace us with elegance and minerality.
